Reopening Energy Campus Wildpoldsried

The work is completed at the new location of the Energy Campus. In addition to the campus storage (75kWh), the new components include a reactive power compensation system and a flexible network extension with a total cable length of more than one kilometer.

On June 26, 2019 the Energy Campus was reopened. The celebration was opened with a keynote speech by Andreas Armstorfer, deputy project leader pebbles at Kempten University of Applied Sciences. Afterwards a panel discussion with energy pioneers and decision makers took place before the visitors get to know the energy campus during a tour. An interactive small town model was provided to discover the “smart service world” with augmented reality. Visitors could explore the exhibit with tablets that combine digital content into physical landscapes.
