Best Paper Award for Kempten researchers

Recently, the 18th International Symposium “TOPICAL PROBLEMS IN THE FIELD OF ELECTRICAL AND POWER ENGINEERING” took place in Toila (Estonia) with the Doctoral School of Energy and Geotechnology III.

Participants from 20 countries including the University of Applied Sciences Kempten presented scientific findings as well electrical engineering and power electronic as university didactic studies, new concepts and approaches in the field of engineering.

Out of all entries the “Best Paper Award” was chosen by the international program committee of the conference. The University of Applied Sciences Kempten is particularly pleased that the award for the contribution “Black Start of Microgrids” which was developed in the context of pebbles was given to Andreas Armstorfer and Prof. Dr.-Ing. Dr. h.c. Helmuth Biechl.
