A delegation trip on the topic “Energy Transition in Germany”, organized by the German-Chilean Chamber of Industry and Commerce together with the Chilean transmission system operator “Coordinador Eléctrico Nacional” (CEN), also led to Wildpoldsried on 17 May.

More than 20 people – representatives of the national transmission system operator, power companies, engineering firms and consulting companies in the energy sector – got to know the German implementation of the energy transition and its challenges from various perspectives. The aim of the trip was to facilitate an exchange in which the Chilean representatives learn from German experience regarding the Chilean energy transition.

In a workshop and a visit to the new energy campus, the concrete implementation in Wildpoldsried and the research on future topics could be discussed with the mayor, Siemens and the University of Applied Sciences Kempten.
