On April 4, 2019, an Australian delegation visited our project and the Energy Campus Wildpoldsried.

Representatives of universities, industry and energy suppliers learned about the transformation of the energy system as part of a trip organized by Siemens at various stations in Germany. Australia has high demand for microgrids and island solutions due to its extensive geography. Focus of interest was the microgrid control, communication and software functionality such as forecasts of renewable generation.

In the workshop, a live demo and, above all, when visiting the energy campus, the visitors were able to exchange valuable experiences and take suggestions with the experts from the University of Kempten and Siemens.
