On 14 and 15 May 2019, the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy organized the “Days of Digital Technologies” in Berlin.

The Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy promotes the development of cutting-edge digital technologies in and for Germany and the European Economic Area. It is important to address future issues at an early stage and accelerate the transfer of scientific results to marketable products, solutions and business models.

Actors from industry, research and politics discussed the latest developments and future-relevant topics in the fields of industry, mobility, health and energy.

In the specialist forum “Blockchain – Opportunity and Challenge for the Energy Industry” Siemens had the opportunity to present the use of blockchain technology in the project pebbles.

The event have contributed to the formation of cross-sector value networks in addition to professional exchange and networking.
