Guest lecture at Technical University Ingolstadt
On 06/06/2018, one of our project engineers, Joachim Klaus from Allgäuer Überlandwerk, had the opportunity to speak on the subject of potential applications of blockchain technologies in the energy sector and to present the pebbles research project as part of a lecture on Energy distribution and grid connections. Mr Klaus spoke to students of energy technology and renewable energy for approximately 90 minutes. This included an introduction to blockchain technology and its potential applications in the energy sector, as well as a presentation of the newly launched research project, pebbles. Prof. Uwe Holzhammer invited Allgäuer Überlandwerk to hold this guest lecture. The connection was originally made at another lecture by Mr Klaus at Technical University Ingolstadt as part of the C.A.R.M.E.N. expert forum on Perspectives on marketing energy. The pebbles project team at Allgäuer Überlandwerk would like to thank Prof. Holzhammer for the invitation and the opportunity to present the project to the students.
